Our family lives in a small town in Oregon so shopping is somewhat limited and as the kids get older they seem to be alllllllways hungry. So, I’ve had to go back to the basics with the kids snacks and offer lots of fruits and vegetables. We don’t do the typical fruit snacks and pop tarts type of thing. We do occasionally buy some gluten free bars if they are on sale (small town shopping is pricey). Here’s a list of our go too gluten free snacks, you’ll find most of them to be affordable. Most of these are fairly healthy so they’re guilt free too.
- Apples and peanut butter
- Gluten free sandwich meat
- Hot dogs (just the dogs)
- Peanut butter rice cake (add chocolate chips for an extra kick)
- Broccoli and gluten free ranch
- Hard boiled eggs
- Tortilla chips
- Kind bars or Larabar
As always be sure to check to make sure any products you buy are gluten free. What are some snacks you and your kids love?
