Granola Bark

About the recipe: This sweet treat has quickly become one of my kids favorites. I often make this using dairy free butter and it turns out just as good. As always make sure all of your ingredients are labeled gluten free.

1 cup of gluten free oats

2 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons syrup

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon allspice

Preheat oven to 250 degrees and line a cookie sheet with foil. Grease the foil. In a medium sized frying pan over medium high heat melt butter. Add Syrup and oats; mix well. Cook over medium high heat for 3 minutes stirring constantly. Mix in remaining spices and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and spread mixture out onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake in preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes, until bark is slightly soft. Let bark cool completely as it will harden.
