About the recipe: Since going gluten free, this has quickly become a family favorite. As school and soccer have just started up for our family it’s one I expect to be making quite a bit in the coming months. It’s super easy and inexpensive AND you guessed it-great for a busy weeknight meal.
2 boxes Zatarain’s Spanish Rice
1 ½ lbs ground beef
2 tablespoons butter
3 cups water
Brown beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain grease. Add mixes, butter, and water to the beef and stir to combine. Bring to boil then cover and reduce to low. Simmer covered for 20 minutes. Let sit for 5 or so minutes. Careful! It will be hot.
