Mini Apple Crisp

About the recipe: This recipe was adapted from another of my full-sized crisp recipes. I love making small portions of things so that you get just enough, but not too much. This recipe can be made dairy free by substituting in dairy free butter.

Preheat Oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 6.1×5.6×2.5 petite baking dish.

Filling:

1 1/2 granny smith apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 tablespoon gluten free flour

1 1/2 tablespoon water

In a medium sized bowl, mix together apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Place apples in baking dish and sprinkle water over the top.

Topping:

1/2 cup gluten free old-fashioned oats

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1/2 tablespoon flour

3 tablespoons butter softened

In a small bowl mix together oats, flour, and brown sugar. Mix in butter. Spread over oats and place in preheated oven. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until apples are soft when poked with a fork.
